duck... duck...

Goose! Or, more accurately, half a goose!

After getting off the trail in Sham Tseng (a village near Tsuen Wan), we decided to have an early dinner at a famous goose restaurant. It was my first culinary goose experience.

I thought it was very tasty, but like duck (the only other waterfowl I've partaken of), it's very fatty.

Here's the "after" picture. We were hungry.
I thought their mascot/logo was pretty funny. An aproned goose happily standing outside some sort of pressurized roaster which is probably in the process of cooking one of his comrades. Not a pleasant thought...
It reminded me of a site I came across recently devoted to "suicide food. " In other words, "animals that desire to be eaten."
